Our Story

"Creative and Conscientious”

Burdick Finish Carpentry started out as Burdick Construction back in 1987, when my father, John, started the business, serving people on the west end of Clallam County. I began my education as a carpenter and woodworker in high school shop classes, then gained skills through the years working with my dad and other construction contractors of all kinds. I took a six month class at the Northwest School of Wooden Boatbuilding in 1995, and developed a love for traditional woodworking there. In 2005, I took over my dad’s construction business and became the owner. Over the next couple of decades, I took on a wide variety of remodeling and addition projects, decks, and many kinds of repair and restoration work. Recently, I decided to specialize in what I love to do the most: finish carpentry. I now operate solo and do smaller jobs, which enables me to focus on the details of each unique project.

It’s very important to me to do high-quality, long-lasting work, and fulfill the needs and aesthetics of all my clients, no matter what kind of project it is.
